Our Mission and Vision
Our Mission: We uplift communities and leaders by destroying
stereotypes and uncovering new pathways for change.
Our Vision: A society in which every person can fully access opportunity,
dignity, safety, and civic participation; where systems evolve to repair the
historical harms of the civil and criminal legal systems.
About Us
Our Mission and Vision
Our Mission and Vision
The Uplift is led by, and for, people with lived experience in the criminal legal system. We create pathways to leadership, build community, and ensure those most impacted are at the forefront of every decision. Guided by our rallying cry, “Together We Rise,” we turn lived experience into lasting change.
